In May 2024, the Town of Freedom partnered with MSA for Building Inspection Services. To streamline the process and ensure all required inspections are completed, MSA will now oversee all open building permits effective immediately. Please contact MSA at 920-392-5150 to schedule an initial inspection so they can assess the status of your project. Failure to do so may result in a project stoppage to ensure compliance with the Uniform Dwelling Code.

Building Inspector Office Hours will be 9am-11am on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month

  • If you are building a new home, you will need to submit an online application for a permit at Online Building Permit System. Once online application is completed, please complete the Town of Freedom Building Permit Application and contact Stephanie Potter to submit your plans and other required information (electronic format required).

  • Address Request Form - these are required for all new homes.  Please complete and submit to the Building Inspector with your permit.  The Town staff will then complete the online application and get an address assignemnt from Outagamie County.
