REMINDER: Dumpsters at all Town of Freedom parks and buildings are not for public use. Residents have been disposing of large items, leading to significant costs for the town. This is unacceptable. Continued violations may result in fees being imposed on those responsible.

VFW Memorial Park

 

VFW Memorial Park is located near the intersection of STH 55 and Columbia Ave. The original park was donated to the Town by the VFW. This park covers approx. 32 acres.  Facilities in the park include 4 softball diamonds, hardball diamond, soccer fields, a combination tennis/basketball court, a sand volleyball court, open and covered playground areas, a pavilion, 3 combination shelter/concession stands, skate park area, and restrooms. This park is heavily used for organized athletic activities. 

Dogs are not allowed in the park - only service dogs!

The pavilion, VFW Hall and Town Hall are available for rental by town residents.
